I think Burns should be where Brook is Martinez, Katsidis, Moses, and Mitchell are better wins than Brook has beat so far.

Khan I think should still be higher up the list Maidana, Kotelnik, Judah, and Malignaggi are all good wins close debatable loss to Peterson and bad loss to Garcia push him up the list but 9 is to high seeing as he has the best resume outside Haye and Froch.

Haye I don't really know where to rank he has a good resume but inactivity makes it hard to decide where to place him.

    I would probably go:

    1. Froch.
    2. Haye.
    3. Burns.
    4. Khan.
    5. Brook.
    6. Cleverly.
    7. Rees.
    8. Bellew.
    9. Barker.
    10. Fury.

:deal Elvis is bang on here. Potential and such like aren't what rankings should be based on.

Price could well in 6 months be higher and deserve it but currently it's a poor call IMHO.

The BBC list stinks of somebody having a quick scan of Boxrec and compiling a list in approx 4 minutes and 37 seconds.

I said myself, it's based on what they've done in the past year. Burns and Cleverly haven't had big enough fights, they're being derided by fans as paper champions who are scared to fight big names, (Clev especially) ask anyone. Khan has lost major title bouts and is being written off by many. Very much at a career crossroads he is.

Brook and Bellew (thanks to Sky) have each had big boost in support and public profile. Brook is the mandatory challenger for the IBF title, Bellew is one fight away from being mandatory for the WBC. They've each had good fights where they've shown their ability.

Both good fighters who deserve to be on there.

Mitchell and Moses though are still better wins than Brook and Bellew have had in the past year though.

Brook is fighting a big fight next but he hasn't won it yet and I don't think he should be rank 2 just because he signed to fight Alexander.

Burns is clearly number 2 behind Froch. Khan should be far higher he has faced and beaten world class fighters at the top level. Brook has only beaten Matt Hatton an old N'Dou and Carson Jones (just).

Haye is probably third and I'd have Macklin at 5th I think he's had two closely contested world title fights and is on the fringes of the top of his division. Cleverly behind him and definitely Fury over Price! Price has beaten no one of any merit and Fury as clocked up good wins over Chisora and Johnson and Maddalone which are all better than anything Price has done.

The list disappoints me to be honest, aside from Froch I don't see anyone on it that I really have big faith in to make me proud, maybe Burns and Fury eventually and hopefully Tony Bellew.

It would be great if Degale and Groves both get world straps and have a rematch, that could be the current era's Benn/Eubank!

TBH DeGale and Groves both deserve to be there in place of Frampton and Price. We got plenty of talent really but the BBC have taken **** with this list. There list can't be done properly when they've got various critieria's to meet. A mess..
