Can heavyweight contenders of 90's-2000's win a title this era?

Okay, just for the sake of discussion.

It seems like the consensus for this period in heavyweight history is not as high as other eras.

Now in most discussions usually in determining the legacies of fighters, I noticed that Lennox Lewis has a high ranking due to the quality of the fighter he faced and the overall strength of the fighters of his era.

Alright, let's just remove the Klitchsko's from the equation as they are obviously outstanding heavyweights regardless of the era they'd been in.

So the question is, would these heavyweight contenders from Lennox-Holyfield-Tyson era have won a title had they fought and been prime in this current time?

    Michael Grant
    Andrew Golota
    David Tua
    Jameel McCline
    Lance Whitaker
    Kirk Johnson
    Clifford Ettiene

Prime Tua would have had a chance to shatter Wlad's disgraceful glass jaw but i'd put that chance at around 10%-20% outside of that nobody troubles either brother though there could be a few surprises with Vitali given his tendency to quit when the going gets tough.

EDIT: Without the Klits, Tua would have won a title.

Prime Tua, Golota & Ibeabuchi would all be capable of beating the Klitschkos

Out of that list, Tua for sure would hold a strap at some point, metally stable (an oxymoron) Golota would probably get a piece, even Grant would have a shot in todays scene. There are others outside that list who were 90`s contenders who would be relevant today for sure. The overall pool of talent was deep, much deeper than today.

I'm really curious about Grant's case.

He's a very athletic guy who has the tools and should've been slowly built to to learn his trade.

Too bad for a guy who never had a great punch resistance, he was rushed in big fights too early.

Tua, Ike, Witherspoon, Golota, Bruno, all good enough to hold belts...any one of them would have been third HW in the world and in line for a shot at the champ right now (a position currently officially held by povetkin...previously by Adamek...previously by Helennius...previously by Arreola)

Prime Tua, Golota and Ibeabuchi. All three are easily capable of beating both Klitschkos, and there isn't anyone else who would trouble those three.

Tua against Haye, Adamek, Helenius etc., would be ****ing slaughter. He'd potentially end their careers.

Pretty much exactly what I was thinking.

Also Grant gets his faced smashed in regardless of how poor the era is.
