By the way, now it has been proven without a shadow of a doubt that Rooster ****ing Roy was a steroid cheat, I was just wondering how long you think he was on the gear for? Personally I think he was juiced out of his nut from before he went to the Olympics right up until he got busted against Hall. Actually, he was clearly juiced out of his nut for the Ruiz fight too so it was even longer than that. Apparently hundreds of his fellow US Olympians who won Olympic medals between 1988-2000 actually had failed tests covered up by the powers that be in the US (Roy won his silver medal at the 1988 games in Seoul). I suspect he might have been one of their 'new breed' they'd been experimenting on, a bit like his fellow countryman and sporting great Carl Lewis who many had also described as ''Superman''. Coincidentally, like Roy, he also tested positive too after taking one of those ''over the counter supplements'' that seem to be so popular in juicing circles these days, but it was swept under the carpet for some strange reason. Can you ****ing believe that? Shocking I know.
Calzaghe. As much as people like to give him **** (sometimes just for the sake of it) he had a very good engine.
Overall, Joe because he was an SMW and as the fighters get bigger generally they seem to have less stamina. P4P probably pacquio. Stength of punches irrelevant but as Serge proved Joe's power was good despite what the haters want to have you believe
That has to be an old quote. Circa 2007? I'm sure now the answer would be someone between Haye, Frenkel or Lebedev and he might be a little more quiet on the dishing out a lot more punishment than he ever took. Don't get me wrong, I think Joe Calzaghe could pop, especially when he was younger (moreso in spots when he got older), I just found that quote amusing.
You got proof he was a cheat that whole time ,pathetic ! And the question was asked who had a better work rate and stamina ,Joe or Manny ? It defiantly takes more endurance to throw full punches than arm ones let alone slaps ..So please enlighten me as to what **** Roy Jones has to do with this conversation ?
Yeah, Joe used to hit hard pre ****ed hands. However, not as hard as those guys. lol. I actually think Frenkel has better one punch KO power than Haye, although obviously Haye (who obviously hits like a ****ing truck) has proven his power at the higher level. Frenkel puts people to sleep though. Out cold. Apparently he used to do it a lot in the amateurs too. When asked if the left-hook he clocked Enzo with was the hardest he'd ever landed he said this: '' In the amateurs, I scored a lot of knockouts - maybe twenty 1st-round KOs. I had so many amateur knockouts that were just like this one, so I cant really say if that was the hardest one. But it was one of the hardest, yes.'' Rumour has it that Frenkel put Marco Huck to sleep twice in sparring too.
I said I THINK (as in suspect) he was on the gear all that time. Just weighing up all the evidence and forming my opinion bro. http://imageshack.us/f/221/963950451.jpg/ (it won't let me embed that for some strange reason) As for what this has to do with Roy? Er. Nothing, I was just engaging in a little gentle ribbing that's all. You know, how you guys love to do about Calzaghe day-in-day-out on here a full FOUR years after he's hung up his gloves. :good
