Carp wins. By stoppage. He'll hurt Calz with a right and follow up with a combo, flooring Calzaghe for an 8 count. Calzaghe will get up and eat another right hand putting him down for 10. This will happen sometimes around the 8th round. Calzaghe will have been hurt several times already by this point. The scores will be fairly close, though.

If Joe Calzaghe is overrated then Carpentier is 10x more overrated.

do you think Calzaghe can win this?

Carpentier has serious power but I think clazaghe might be able to befuddle him... I think It would be a close fight.

Good Lord, I can hear the wheelchairs creaking to the microphone to tell tale of the "great" Carpentier, the operator who was out-operated by the crude Siki.

Not only would Calzaghe whitewash the Orchid Boy or whatever his name was, he would also beat Dempsey over 10 rounds, extending what fat ass Meehan did with ease over 4.

i do think carpentier is generally a bit underrated, a mw losing at hw is no problem.

are there mitigatng circumstances for the siki loss? i heard he didnt take it seriously

that said joe ud over 12 or 15 despite a early kd, i like his ring intelligence and ability to adapt to opponents.

I pick calzaghe to do this one on points.

carp has a punchers chance but calz has a solid chin. The odds of carp landing the ko blow seem quite slim to me.
