Bob Arum wont put Pac in there with Jessie Vargas. Everyone trashes Vargas because he doesnt have a ton of power or killer instinct. Hes a very crafty boxer who can use both hands and will give Pac fits. Not a good tune-up for Pac.

Rios wont be next either because thats too risky. Bob can still use Pac and wants to build Rios up and hopefully turn him into a star. Much too soon to put Rios in there with Pac. He could honestly give Pac a beating and end his career. This fight wont happen till later on

Since Top Rank has mentioned it, id put my money on Senchenko or Humberto. Humberto is probably the front-runner. Dude has no power and prefers to scrap. Perfect tune-up for Pac to look good.

Vargas isn't a threat to Pacquiao man. He's a decent all-around boxer but has no outstanding qualities, in particular any type of real power or great defense, to threaten Pacquiao at all. Senchenko and Soto are at least a bit more dangerous.

Pacs next meet up should be with a rocking chair and a glass of iced tea. (mini tea umbrella optional)

Vargas is a lot bigger than Pac, reach, height etc. A tune-up is to build confidence. If u didnt know, many Vargas opponents have pulled out and he had to fight substitutes. That makes it very difficult to stay motivated and 100% prepared. He would be 110% vs Pac. This kid is hungry man, hes bigger and can box off the back foot or on the inside, he has a great jab and controls distance very well. That is not the type of fighter that will build Pacs confidence and make him look good in the process.

At this point I'd pick even Soto to beat Pac. The guy is done, done, done.

Manny would have trashed all of the guys mentioned in this thread a few years ago. I hope he retires soon.

Wait is Paulie Maliggnagi scheduled for a fight? If not him then maybe Brandon Rios who's a stage 3 out 4 punching bag.

Pacquiao dont need any bums as a tune up unlike some fighters
(this is why Marquez always will be in the shadows of Barrera and Morales). He probably will just fight Marquez. But i hope he will just retire. He is done as a fighter.

  15. Obviously you are a Troll with your bias towards Pacquiao. And the latest out from TopRank is that there will be NO warm up fight. Keep up HoMo
