    Bit gutted about this,if he wasnt gonna fight Bradley or Rios i wanted him to retire...why vargas or senchenko??? 1s unproven and 1 aint anythin special at all.

    Not interested if its not against top names.

    To be honest im sick of the ring around the rosie with pac.... I want to see Marquez forge his own legacy fighting and beating (hopefully) the other top guys at 140.

    Matthysse

    all are great fights for him, and him staying for those would be great news for boxing fans. But him staying around just to beat on some guys and wait for another chance to beat Pac isnt doing his legacy justice, imo.

    Agreed. I'd love to see Marquez against some of those guys. Even Khan would be an interesting fight. Marquez is too good of a fighter for his legacy to be so dependent on the bouts with Pacquiao, so I'd like to see Marquez separate himself from Pacquiao for a while. It'd be a good thing for both fighters to avoid each other for a couple of bouts.
