    Lupe Contreras is my personal favorite. He's got the strongest voice and sounds the most confident and least uncomfortable... I don't care for Joe Martinez or Dreadlocks Diamonte very much...

    Diamante and Contreras are overrated. Too much flash over substance. They make spectacles of themselves when the focus ought to be on keeping it moving while still drumming up impulse for the event, and not distracting from it.

    (not to say those criticisms don't apply to Buffer and Lennon to a degree, but they're both established legends whereas Lupe and David are merely a couple of upstarts)

    Martinez keeps it real, low-key, professional.

    Treiber is just a tool.
