Ian Roberts though, he could throw a punch, used to do bagwork as part of his training before it became trendy...I reckon he could have gone alright in boxing <cue "ring" jokes> :yep

Ian Roberts was overrated in the fighting department..... Johnny Lewis put a huge rap on him and we all know not to listen to that goose when it comes to wrapping a footballer in the ring potentially.

I heard a copy of stories where Roberts was involved in a few sparring sessions and was average when push came to shove

    Nathan Merritt.
was said that he was the strongest in the team when it came to wrestling.
and I know he loves his boxing and just quietly have seen him throw them and he throws with intention and it suprised me when i seen it.

John Steffensen was born in Perth :good

He was apparently a golden gloves champion over there in his youth and after the London Olympics, Steffensen trained with and alongside Jeff Fenech, Danny Green, Vic Darchinyan and Kostya Tszyu. So he has got some pedigree, and he's more than handy with his mouth as well.
