DeMarco is very good but not elite. By far the best opponent Broner has faced. Can anyone seriously justify his current place on the Ring P4P rankings? I'm all ears...
His legacy is still at birth stages, chill. Most people believe he lost to Ponce De Leon. I rate Ponce De Leon higher than a lot of the 'good names' Broner will go on to face at 140/147lbs in the future.
Someone said that even the Ring panel did not put him in there but that ******* who has the final say dropped him in there :blood
He was going to lose to de marko, but then antonio decided to go full ****** and started to fight at the close distance and got KOed... I think antonio knew that he couldnt beat young american hope because of judges therefore he was trying to hard to KO broner, fail...
Ponce de Leon. Most people thought he lost. I thought it was a draw and feel that a draw would have been very appropriate. The 1st round KO of Jason Litzau is very underrated. He was coming off the impressive brawling win over Celestino, fluke or not. Eloy Perez was def somewhere ranked 8-12 at 130 when Broner fought him. Antonio DeMarco was the top guy at LW. Straight to the best in his first fight there. This is his only top level victory, though.
Adrien Broner is the #6 pound-for-pound fighter in the world according to The Ring. That's hilarious. I didn't realise wins over DeMarco, Litzau and Ponce De Leon were so earth-shatteringly good. And Americans complain of Brits over-hyping their fighters? Adrien Broner may be Jeff Lacy v2.0
Couldn't say any better. The guy got skills but he is not being tested for the amount of hype he is receiving. And Rees is another small dude that he is going to wail on. Broner calling out Burns was the right move and deserved praised fight but Burns chickened out.
