PRIME Butterbean v.s Deontay Wilder

Wlad brought in Jameel McCline in just a few months ago for sparring lol... Just because Wlad brought in Wilder for a few weeks to beat up in sparring, doesn't mean Wilder is any good.

 

No, but he's a hell of a lot better than Butterbean ever was. So is McCline, and so is Witherspoon.

 

You seem to be quite obsessed with Wilder, the guy hasn't even had anywhere near the hype for him and has only really been on TV once, why the hard on for the guy? It's real pathetic.

 

As a Wlad fan, am I supposed to hate Purrity or something?

I doubt even among the biggest fanboys do you have people who hate Brewster, Sanders, Purrity. They're all decent guys. Bringing up Wlad's conquerors and posting pictures really contributes nothing to this or any thread. It doesn't inflame his fans and it doesn't remind anyone who may have somehow forgotten. (This isn't just addressed to you, but haters in general.)

I didn't post the pictures or bring it up but the OP dismissed Wlad's comments on Wilder being one of the best sparring partners he has had in years, so I was wondering if he dismissed whatever Wlad had to say about his conquerer, Purrity.

The point being, I think, that Wlad got knocked out by a journeyman and has done quite well after that, so the OP's troll point that Wilder got knocked down by a journeyman has no bearing on how far he will go -- that will be determined, of course.

The basis of the thread -- that Wilder getting knocked down, getting up to win the rest of the round and knocking the opponent out in the next round -- somehow puts him in the class of Butterbean is a pure troll thesis. If you read the thread title and expected a serious and sober-minded discussion that "contributes to the forum," well, that's a leap I can't make.

 

That's fair. I was making a general comment regarding bringing up Brewster/Purrity/Sanders in response to anything. Your post wasn't the best launching point for that line of commentary, though.

 

If that morbidly obese circus midget Dustin Nicholls could get in close and land something I'm sure the equally obese Butterbean could,and he hits a hell of alot harder.
