its got nothing to do with Ward, both good fighters, the 1st fight was very watchable and the feeling is this 2nd fight should be even better. In an era full of poor matchmaking and protected fighters, i'll go with a fight like this every time over some of the **** thats dished up.

I'm an American and a big Andre Ward fan. However, I'm a boxing fan first and these two always put up tough fights and have already put on one great fight against each other.

No need to hate on a good matchup.

To be fair, I couldn't have cared less about him when he was active. I'm just tired of all the "he's the greatest ever" **** on ESB.

If I really like Lennox Lewis does that make it better?

Yeah, Corrales and Castillo should never have fought either, seeing as they were both PBF's leftovers.

ha exactly, if they all followed the OP's logic there'd be even less fights worth paying money to watch!

I'd rather watch these 2 fight anyday over any Ward fight that I've seen so far. And usually I prefer the slicksters but Wards style, personality, his god bull**** and everything about him annoys me. I do agree that he's the 2nd most talented fighter in the sport though and deservingly p4p #3. Also no one from 168-175 stands a chance vs the guy.

I'm European (Dutch) and a big Ward fan, and i wholeheartedly agree, although i don't have any special interest in these 2 other than the fact that they're 2 WORLD CLASS WARRIORS AND I'M A BOXING FAN!

And besides, since Ward has fought once since december 2011 and won't be back for a while yet, does that mean we can't get excited about other quality 168-pound matchups throughout all that time?? LMAO
