    I totally agree with this.
The key to this fight is how Froch starts off. He used to be a slow starter before and in that fight, but since has adjusted his style slightly and does not start off as slow. Also tends to set his big shots up a little better with the jab.

Do you think this new 'marauding' approach that Froch has adopted in his last two fights will be an advantage/disadvantage against Kessler?

115-113 for me. But I always had the feeling if they faced one another again that Froch would win.

I have a feeling that facial injury will be a major factor in this fight, the wounds in the Ward and Froch fights were terrible and will always be an issue in a long, physical fight (neither Boudadla, Green or Magee were able to expose this vulnerability)

Wouldn't be surprised to see a 'Technical Decision' scenario due to Kesslers face disintegrating.

Yeah, they were grotesque. Really hope they won't be a factor in this one though, be a terrible shame if great match up like this was ruined by cuts.

Had Kessler a very clear winner on the night, 9-3 or something but on subsequent viewings I felt that Kessler only just got the better of it in a very close fight.

The referee was a disgrace in the Ward fight, some of the most blatant and cynical 'headwork' I've ever seen, Ward should have had at least three points deducted or been disqualified.

The other thing that pissed me off in that fight was Ward's total lack of contrition, he looked positively smug every time Kessler was seen by the Doctor.

Ward is quite high up my 'Fighters I'd Like To See Chinned' list, sadly I don't see anyone doing at 168lbs for some time yet.

I have to say I agree, Ward and all this "Son of God" nonsense tends to wind me up a little bit, I'd like to see him get taken down a peg or two but just can't see who is going to do it at the moment.

A lot depends on how well he recovers from shoulder surgery.
Mixed feelings about Ward, he's not afraid to face anyone but he never fights from home, a consumate proffesional but a very dirty fighter. That God bothering nonsense has got to end though. Really gets on my tits.

The Son of God annoys me too, it's pure ego maniac stuff to call yourself that.

I had it for Kessler by two rounds too. Different fight this time though!

Your not alone on that one, smug little turd was yapping away on twitter about how Froch vs Mack wasn't an interesting fight, pretty rich coming from him.

It's fairly clear that most of you lot had TVW winning by a round or two, it's going to be real close again in May!

It would be a disadvantage for sure.
What I meant was he cant afford to give the first two or three rounds away like he used to in the past.
The tactics he used against Abraham would see him through to possibly stopping Kessler in this one. Not saying he would ko him, but could possibly get the stoppage.
