They mentioned somewhere in England, but i think unless its in Ireland the crows wont turn up,even if it was in Ireland it would be handy enough, hard to sell tickets for a good show in Belfast not to mention some middleaged man fighting for nothing only money!!!

Turner's out, his cuts from the last day haven't healed sufficiently.

Gonna have to see who weighs in where. Myers will have come on a lot from the Under-23s and PaddyB will want to watch himself, though I think he'll edge it again. Also reckon Conlan, Nevin, Ward, McCarthy and Sheehan will be safe.

Nolan's at risk, and O'Neill. Is Michael O'Reilly going in at ww this year? I'd like to see him in against Nolan, then JJJ and Willie McLaughlin (going pro? Gone quiet there, don't think so) will have other ideas. I see O'Reilly picking up a few titles at 69 over the years, if he stays there, even though Nolan won me a few quid last year and might improve hugely after going to the Olympics, still his only major tourney to date. He's still gotta be the favourite.

At mw, I fancy Quigley to do a number on O'Neill. Cummings will also have a big say. I see it as a Quigley win over O'Neill in the final about 15-10. Ah sure! Suspect Roy Sheahan will be up at mw this year as well. Always been a big fan of Roy and his work with Brian Magee caps what has been a decent return to form.

Hopefully the boys from the team that did so well at last year's European Youths step up. We've Gary Sweeney (going in at 81), O'Reilly, Stephen Broadhurst, Joe Fitzpatrick and Jack Morrissey (all medallists) there to mature now. Should be decent.

BTW Final has been moved to Citywest, most likely the exhibition centre.

My picks for what there worth

    49 Barnes
    52 Conlan
    56 Nevin
    60 DO Joyce
    64 Moylette
    69 McLoughlin
    75 Cummings
    81 Ward
    91 McCarthy
    91 + Sheehan

fairly predictable but I fancy Willie and Cummings to upset the applecart this year.
