he doesn't do anything particularly well, poor defense, very weak chin, not much power, not much speed....he's just really big.

This fool is a biased hater hes gonna get completely owned!! Who are you gonna listen to Emmanuel Steward or him? Steward compares Furys talent to Lennox Lewis and Wlad Klitschko.

He has not much power because he couldnt KO 2 fighters that even Vitali Klitschko come close to Koing Johnson and Chisora? He could have a perfect Ko record fighting bums like Wilder does.

I think David Price is better than Fury. I'd really like to see a fight between Fury and Wilder.

In all seriousness, you actually find this impressive?

He's throwing combos, with average speed, at a target that isn't hitting back. I'm not hating on Fury, I have nothing against the guy, I'm just making an informed, objective observation.

And note: After throwing, Fury just stands there, with his head down & forward. A counterpuncher's DREAM. In fact, after his first 4-punch combo, he actually turns his head to the right, but not back & no body / foot movement, with his arms still held low.

When working the mitts, you're still supposed to use defensive movement. You need to train your brain so that this becomes automatic. Fury is training to be just a big, lumbering target. There is something seriously wrong with his trainer.

At least Fury throws combinations. All Vitali and Wlad (who you worship) do is throw jabs and right hands. Fury can fight like that and bust people up on the inside.

    Say what? :huh

I'm about as far from a Wlad fan as you can find.

Almost KOd by Pajkic, went life and death with McDermott before getting a gift decision, other than that he has fought nobodies and guys who don't hit back.

I'm sorry but he is garbage.

Regardless Fury can fight on the outside, use his size ,jab, right hands and move . Or fight on the inside and beat people down. The Klitschkos only like to jab and throw right hands.

That's because they have mastered a style that works, why fight on the inside when you can dominate from the outside? Fury fights on the inside because he is easy to get to so has no choice.

Fair enough. Fury is a lot more fun to watch, unless you're talking about a prime Vitali, which we haven't seen in ages.

But so what? He's still slow, somewhat lacking in power, and severely lacking in skills. He's able to dance around and show some footwork, but not when he's actually engaging his opponent.

Feh, what's the difference? This will all become obvious very soon.

He's pretty good at it mind, most of his stoppage wins come from him attacking the body.....he was thrown in the deep end early on in his career .. use the Mcdermott fight all you like he came back and beat him up in the rematch .. he's taken two unbeaten fighters 0s,Pajkic put him on his bum bla bla bla he came back in the next round and battered him.
Johnson didn't punch back against Vitali either .. both he and Fury made it so that he couldn't.

    If ESB existed in 1966.

Ali was almost KO'd by 180 lbs domestic fighter Henry Cooper. His corner had to cut his glove to buy time to recover so Ali wouldn't be stopped. Ali went life and death when George Chuvalo (34-11 record at the time) put him in the hospital pissing blood. The guy must be garbage.
