The Filipino press is reporting a very possible April showdown between 2012 Fighter of the Year Nonito Donaire and WBA champ Guillermo Rigondeaux. Top Rank boss Bob Arum is looking at an April 27 date.

The Sun is reporting a possible showdown between Amir Khan and Ricky Hatton-conqueror Vyacheslav Senchenko, possibly at the Manchester Arena on April 20. Talks between the two camps were initiated last week.

Former flyweight champ Isidro “Sid” Perez, who held the WBC crown between 1990 and 1992, is reported as missing in Mexico City. His family and friends have not seen him for months. Perez’s pension check has also not been cashed since last September.

Part of the reason why Donaire at least wants Rigo to build his name up.

Has Rigo got at least half the fanbase of Mares, this would be PPV already.

I can't see this on PPV, Donaire getting a million to fight on HBO, how many sales would they do?
