Kessler: "The Froch rematch is great, but what I really want is a Ward rematch"

yeah I hated Ward after this fight, that's pretty much cheating right in plain sight. He redeemed himself in the Froch fight though.

 

Yes. He fought a clean fight against Froch. But that doesn't really help Kessler.

 

I agree. I think Ward should have been penalized (heavily) for his conduct in that fight, and I think Kessler deserves a rematch. I'm just saying that after that fight I thought Ward was just another Ruiz. Turns out he did have some serious game after all.

 

Looking past this fight would be a really dumb mistake

 

Ward didn't want to box that fight.
Against Green it must have been the same amount of clinches.

Must have been scared!

Would love to see Kessler get his hand on that son of **** again.

sou you obviously think that Wards victory against Kessler was a fine display of fair play form both him and Reiss?

I mean even the American commentators were more than a little negative about some of the tactics. Ward is a great fighter but I can't see how any fan could call this a case of butthurt, unless that is they are indeed blinded themselves..

 

Was it somewhat dirty? Yes. Very? No.

A good comparison would be that Ward vs. Kessler was not nearly as flagrantly dirty as Mares vs. Agbeko I, Mares vs. Moreno, or Mares vs. Darchinyan. I don't hear people whining about those anymore (and they would be more rightful to do so for these than Ward, or Bradley I'll throw out there too, and their headbutting).

This is kind of sad at this point, the Butthurt is about as severe as anything since the Lewis TKO6 put on the Klittards. They need to get that looked at by a professional.

 

Well if he beats Froch, Im sure he'll get his wish.

If people were to denigrate every win from an opponent who used rough house tactics, Tyson,Holyfield,Hopkins,Bika, Hatton and Froch wouldnt have a legitimate win between them.
