Vitali Klitschko's resume is garbage

He's got a lot of top 10 ranked HW's, even if they sucked or never returned to the stature they were post-defeat.

Corrie Sanders, Tomasz Adamek, Samuel Peter, Chris Arreola, Kirk Johnson, Juan Carlos Gomez, Dereck Chisora
^ these were all in the Ring top 10 when he beat them, with the first three sadly being among a list of the better HW victories during that time span.

...not horrible either. The TKO6 loss to Lennox is as good a stoppage defeat as there is in the history of the sport, for whatever that's worth. Nobody claims he's a top 15 HW ever. His resume is among the 25 best, I would probably say.

The 2 unavenged losses & that 4 year retirement really hurt his legacy.

Nobody told him to fight Albert Sosonowski, or ancient Shannon Briggs, or Manuel Charr etc....these are guys prospects should be fighting.

He doesn't have the resume of an ATG fighter. Probably the best thing he has going for him in a legacy sense is an 11 fight winning streak after a 4 year layoff- and when he was clearly past prime the whole time, and arguably shot for the last few fights. 10 WBC defences during that time is worth mentioning, at least.

Another thing worth mentioning is that none of his wins were close fights, but both of his losses were close fights. He doesn't have the big wins of his brother, but he was dominant the whole time- right into his 40s

Vitali resume might not look great on the surface to people that DKSAB.

But for people that do. He's resume is legendary as his chin.

• Never really lost.
• Never been "floored" shook up or down.
• Iron cast cheeen. As best as they come.
• Chased off a prime Canadian glass jaw Lewis into early retirement.
• Highest KO ratio.
• Scared a whole generation of American HW boxers who turned to playing football and basketball when they saw the Klit beating their brothers to a pulp.
