I know people can't believe it, but I've never really liked watching Roy Jones or Floyd Mayweather, either. As outstanding as these fighters were, their styles just don't move me.

However they're far easier on the eye than the likes of Calzaghe, Hopkins, Ruiz who, for me anyway, are three of the ugliest styles in recent memory, regardless of how good they were.

Boxing is a spectator sport. The best fighters are supposed to look good when they're doing it. It's why most people love guys like Morales; it's the way he fights.

at least for me, calzaghe is tough to watch because of his style, it's cringeworthy at times. khan is tough to watch because you want to reach through the screen and rag doll him when he can't adapt, stick to a gameplan, or tries to get all machismo, he's frustrating considering the physical tools. wlad because he generally is unwilling to engage with killer instinct to get a guy out of there quick, when he easily could at times, yet drags it out, usually quite on the boring side with all the one two hold stuff.

Jessie Vargas is the most boring active fighter IMO. Every fight of his I have seen, I have been bored shitless.

Need to fall asleep? Watch a Maxie Rosenbloom, Eusebio Pedroza or Fritzie Zivic fight.

Hopkins and Vlad bore me to tears, i can't bare to watch fighters who are afraid to engage and just want to spoil and break up the action.

Between 97-2000, he knocked Virgil Hill out with that beautiful body shot and he outclassed Reggie Johnson. He did fight a few bums like Frazier, but his fights with Telesco and Hall weren't boring.

As soon as I saw this thread, I immediately thought of Johnny Nelson. My god, he used to send me to sleep. He is definitely the most boring fighter I've ever seen.

The most frustrating fighter, was probably Junior Witter.
