This is all so silly, people act like the biggest factor in both PBF and Pacs careers does not exist. If Arum wants a fight to happen he can make it happen . . . if he doesn't it wont. Fights did not happen if Arum did not think he could make enough money off of them , risks his biggest money makers, or he decides to go to war with another promoter. Do you guys get it now . . . while Arum has made some great matches he has also prevented about three times as many.

Floyd has beaten much better fighters than Margarito. He made more money to fight the true, lineal champ and then got the mega fight with DLH who was a much tougher opponent thAN Cheato. There was no reason to pass up millions of dollars to fight, a slow, plodding , cheating bum like Marg, who the casual fan had never heard of, and who bought no money to the table.

I laughed as I scrolled down the thread. Only took a few posts before some ignorant pacturd found a reason to discredit the information and sources. If this article indicates Floyd didn't duck margs or cotto.... then that means Floyd's as legit as some people say he is. Oh no, pac's butt just became more swollen.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

ha ha ha... in a land where 28 year old's can earn their GED, then become congressman, it should be no surprise that the people (or some of the people) of that land are morons.

BC his haters made a splice a video of Floyd saying that margarito is not even rated as the best nor known to the public so the fight makes no sense and "not fighting to see who is the best" into "we're not fighting to see who the best is" -just that part and part some crappy 311 song over it.

I would have loved to have seen that fight and ANYONE who does not think that Margarito would have been in BEAST mode and given Floyd 12 rounds of hell are kidding themselves.

Yes, he would have been looking foolish for large parts of the fight but he would also have been grinning and relentlessly pursuing and pounding at Mayweather.

I dont blame Floyd for taking another route as he doesnt have the pop to discourage the monster in this one and it's a potentially damaging 12 rounds.

He side-stepped it, good decision IMO.

Grinning and missing more like it.:deal Margo is too slow of both hand and foot too trouble PBF especially the version that would have fought him. The one who could fight off his back foot for a full 12 rounds if need be would have put on a boxing clinic against him. PBF-Margo is PBF-Baldo all over again except worse because Baldo had better boxing ability and is a faster starter than Margo.

Thats all speculation, Margarito hits harder than Baldo throws more shots than Baldo and has an Iron chin.
Point is not who would have won point is the man ducked him a fight with Margarito would have made more sense than a fight with Victor Ortiz

You are entitled to your opinion but I disagree if what you are implying is Floyd would've coasted it with minimal damage, he'd have been in a few spots IMO :yep

    Good sidestep IMO

Margarito, after he defeated Cotto, would have been Floyd's most exciting fight.

Too bad Floyd ducked him and let Margarito take all his money while Floyd sat on the side lines SCARED AS A MOTHER ****ER, losing HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS of potential earnings that Margarito and his friends were taking from Floyd.

if Floyd did Not retire two days before the 1st Marg vs Cotto fight, and agreed to fight him it would have been a massive event HUGE money made why leave that on the table? especially when you believe its easy work easy money
