Why do people say Floyd ducked Margarito??even Arum says it aint so

Blame Arum for the fight not happening. It was been pointed out as clear as day that PBF agreed to fight the man but Arum didn't want it. He low balled PBF and PBF went on to bigger and better things. It turned out the money that PBF wanted was a drop in the bucket for what he got just one fight later. Arum blew it.

Margo is a slow starter he would have done nothing but get hit in the face and be down 6 rounds to nothing by the time he finally started to warm up. After he warmed up with his uneducated pressure and started pressing he would get picked apart even worse. The only thing PBF would have to worry about in this fight would be if he would break his hands from all the clean counters and flush leads he would hit Margo with. BTW Margo doesn't hit hard and this has been proven since the Mosley fight without his secret weapon.

 

Why not make the fight then? I mean if this is what you believe why not make the fight? if you believe its easy work free money why retire? why allow Mosley to get a shot and pull it out?

Its really simple. Arum is a very spiteful man, and turned his vitriol on Oscar when he left TR.

So when FMJ said he would fight Marg, but he wanted Oscar next Arum refused point blank.

Mayweather then left TR himself amid much acrimony, and will not fight TR fighters.

Only mentally ******ed Pacturds are imbecilic enough to claim FMJ ducks TR fighters. He doesn't he simply refuses to do business with the parasitical verminous Arum.

And I for one give him all the credit in the world for that. Any athlete who can tell suits to go and **** themselves and still earn more money than anyone else in their chosen sport deserves credit, and respect.

 

Margo was still with TR and Arum still wouldn't make the fight. Arum is full of **** and is still bitter about PBF leaving him for greener pastures.

 

Why is it always arums fault? seriously? I mean isnt this about money? if the money is right there is no reason not to fight.
This whole I wont do business with TR look this is boxing if you are truly out there to fight the best and beat the best then the only thing that should matter at the end of the day is your paycheck not who promotes the fight.

 

Margarito would not have been an easy nights work for Floyd, Big Paul had to throw over 100 punches a round to keep him off ............ there were more punches thrown in the first 5 rounds of that than the entire Mayweather/Judah fight a few months earlier and let's not forget Floyd got put on his ass by Zab, someone those two would have ate! :hey

 

Margarito's style would have troubled Floyd after he slowed down from being on his back foot all fight, but could Marg slow him down fast enough? He's never going to pin him down to throw more than 2 shots at a time.

Floyd fought Baldomir for way less $$$$$ than he'd have got for Margarito & they stunk out the place people were walking out disgusted. Floyd knew that if he fought Margarito the façade was over & he'd have gotten his cowardly ass WHUPPED!!!!!

and floyd never really ducked anyone imo... he was extremely inactive in a point of his career which helped him carefully choose his opponents but besides makin jmm move up to weight classes then floyd comin in overweight is the only bull **** fight on his resume imo

 

Folks make it seem like Margarito was such a big threat. Who really thinks Margarito would of beat Floyd??? Just because he could take punishment doesn't mean anything, considering Floyd could keep dishing it out for the whole 12 rounds.
