True. That huge left counter by Sanders had Vitali in more trouble than anything Lewis threw at him.

It' simple. I guess he is NOT speaking / practicing English very often. His German is better. English is the most important language today, but I really doubt there is a need to disrespect anyone who is not that fluent at it.

By the way, one can be intelligent without being good at languages. Only very few people are good at languages, science AND sports. ;)

Agreed. Always count on Vitali to gloat over the bums he knocks out, while ducking all top contenders.

    248 vs Lewis
Last fight vs Charr he was also 248 I think. He's usually always the same weight. Looking at him he's undeniably always in great shape. These days he looks a bit slimmer rather than the more muscular look he had back in 2003.

He has said things like this in the past. I believe he genuinely thinks nobody can stop him, certainly not any HW today - except his little bro but obviously they won't ever fight.

But could he finish Vitali without getting clinched? Look how Valuev and Wlad clinched when they were hurt and gave themselves time to recover...

    Dear CHEF,

Stop serving Vitali duck l'orange so he can stop ducking. Serve him huevos rancheros so he can grow cohones.

    Sincerly,

Haye's not an amazing finisher. He tends to lose his composure when he hurts an opponent and just throws the kitchen sink at them, so it's very possible that Vitali could weather a storm by clinching Haye up. However, as the Sanders and Lewis fights showed, clinching doesn't really come naturally to Vit. He gives opponents a lot of opportunities on the inside, and his clinch can be broken much more easily than his brother's because he holds fighters round the back of the head, not in the bearhug style of Wlad. If Haye can land enough to hurt Vitali then regain his composure in between rounds, I think he could stop him the following round with some sharp well-timed shots.

I have little doubt Vits was juicing as a pro. Its probably the biggest reason he was so injury prone.
