Don't even care who wins as you can't compare that era vs nowadays.
I do find it hilarious though that when talked about prime for prime its always the Wlad of purity/sanders etc.

If you are going to hate at least put some substance behind it.

Sounds like a tribute to Sanders' natural talent and power if anything.

Is it also a tribute to Ross Purrity's natural talent and power as well?

Vlad getting KTFO is a tribute to his bad habit of pulling straight back and dropping his punches to his waist..:deal

There is nothing refined about Vlad...he still pulls straight back and drags his punches...

He fights TERRIFIED regardless of opponents...

You mean former LHW Max Schmeling? And you're using him as testimony to Louis' granite chin?

If he grew up today with modern training methods and a staff of three around him, yes. The talent was there no doubt.

If you put a 1860s Morphy in a time machine and put him in front of Anand today it'd be embarrassing and painful to watch. The disparity in performance would be gigantic.

I'd rather tell people I got stopped by Max Schmelling than by the dreaded Ross Purrity....:rofl

It took TWO Klits to beat ONE Chris Byrd:deal

Lamon Brewster and Ross Purrity didn't need a staff of three around them or any "modern training methods" to beat Vlad...

Cory Sanders wasn't even a full time fighter....

Purrity was a full-time fighter so that's irrelevant to your "Sanders wasn't even a full-time boxer" comment.

There's no point talking to a troll who pretends not to understand that it wasn't prime Wlad, today's Wlad, who was stopped three times. It was young, dumb, recklessly offensive Wlad.

Wlad didn't get better, his opposition got worse and he got a ref to bail him out when the going got tough. That is 100% true.

Brewster and Sanders would still drag into into the trenches today.

I don't really follow chess, but wasn't Morphy supposed to be one of the best ever? I'd imagine it's considerably easier to compare performances though, given that the game hasn't really significantly changed in the last few hundred years.

It was a prime Vlad...STOP trying to deny it......he was in his 20's when Purrrity ran him ragged..

Nobody's prime is as they get older....:rofl

If Vlad has the benefit of all these "modern training techniques"

WHY IS HIS STANIMA SO POOR??????:hi:
