    Welborn presses in with his feet set wide. Gavin crouches back and puts out his right jab, taking constant wide compass steps. Welborn is circling right and posing a lot, not firing off much. Gavin is sticking the right jab from various angles, showing off his superior hand speed. Gavin touches his back to the ropes and springs off, spinning Welborn about with a quick step-around and a jab. Welborn drills through with a rear hand body shot. Gavin keeps floating around and jabbing, holding when Welborn cuts in. More right jabs by Gavin.

    Yea gavin would probably be headlining arenas if he was with sexy ed but instead he's fighting in a snooker hall in the arsehole of england.

    Welborn is trying to bully his way in with his arms stuck out. Gavin circles and jabs smoothly. Welborn is just about staying with him but can't get set, Gavin's footwork too on-the-spot and his right jab working nicely as a rhythm breaker. Right to the body by Welborn. Gavin is holding his arms low, putting up the jab. Another body shot by Welborn.

    Welborn is attacking more frequently now with the right hand, high and low. Gavin keeps outmaneuvering him and placing the southpaw jab on him. Welborn is enjoying more success, but still only in spurts, getting outlanded.

    Gavin needs to be down at 140, Welborn looks a lot bigger. No doubt that Gavin's class will tell but at world level he won't

    Gavin has such lovely balance & footwork, good anticipation & defensive radar.

    Such a talented guy but his career is always one step forward two steps back.

    Welborn has blood coming from his nose. Welborn is missing the right hand as Gavin repeatedly executes the "Ole!". Gavin has the right jab flowing, working just enough to rack up the points without over-exerting. Welborn gets closer with the right hand and begins to graze with it.
