Yes I agree Morales is very very suspect, also the Quillin / Wright situation was really odd too.

I'm not happy with the outcome of either of these.....

 

You have to consider that in boxing, they're at the mercy of the promoter that employs them voluntarily. The promoter has everything to lose from their involvement, and nothing to gain except a little publicity (though it's mostly backfired there). There's a glaring conflict of interest, but there's no other game in town, at least in the US with all the state commissions.

 

Arums isn't the only one to blame. If our modern "greats" had half the balls of the greats from the past, this fight would have been made, regardless if Arum wanted it or not.

Well yes they are but they should have some intregity if they *uck things up in boxing they should know they have to answer tough questions.

The whole drug testing issue in boxing sucks and it is really disheartening! No one gives a flying *uck!

People pretending that current testing is sufficient is a joke (including Morales / Quillin vs Wright farces)....it all needs a shake up immediately.
