He wasn't too big for the dreaded Ross Purrity and Lamon Brewster...

Boxing is about skill not size

    When will they ever learn:lol:

When skill is equal, bet on the bigger man.

^^ Wlad is a one dimensional , 1-2 artist with zero defence, inside game and no ability to adjust.

How is that equal to Joe Louis? Get out of this thread you full time clown.

Joe Louis has a great chin, while wladimir's isn't that strong. If wladimir keeps the fight on the outside and tries no to get into close ranged exchanges he might have a chance but a pretty slim one since Joe Louis can fight on the outside and inside. Joe Louis also has tremendous stamina while wladminir fades in the late rounds.

Joe Louis would be a favourite, but you never know what could happen in that ring.

    :patsch:patsch :rofl

That's because nobody cares about events like long jump, it's a microscopic sport. Sprint steals all the potential talents, that's where the money is. Average Joe :)hey) doesn't know nor give a **** about who the best current long jumper is, but everyone has heard of Usain Bolt.

I just googled it, and I have never heard of ****ing Greg Rutherford. I'm sure you brits have, but here in Norway that guy haven't been mentioned in a single ****ing article I have ever read.

Usually guys who run fast will have the potential to jump far, look at Carl Lewis etc. Greg Rutherford absolute best 100m sprint is clocked at 10.26 seconds, wouldn't even get him a gold medal 50 years ago.

The only thing Wlad has improved upon over the years is hiding his shaky chin.

    Joe Louis could find it.

It's a compelling mythical fight; not one-sided in anyone's favor and prone to a different outcome each time.

So you think that if Joe Louis fought now he would be exactly the same? I think he would be stronger, more muscular and maybe even faster. His stamina was exceptional he did alot of roadwork so not sure if he could improve much on that. Stop showing me videos of Joe Louis i know how skilled he was, I don't know know what your trying to prove, iv'e already stated Louis beats Wlad IMO. All sports training and nutrition has improved over the past 60 years and if you don't beleive that your being very naive.

    Either Klitschko easily destroys Louis.
