There comes a time in every Heavyweight's career when he has to look up and start facing the higher ranked fighters to prove his worth, and no one would be happier than me if 2013 was that time for Wilder. He's been a pro long enough now that he should know his trade and be good enough at it to challenge, at least, the top 50 ranked fighters in his division. So 2013 is high time that Wilder either proves his worth or falls. Unfortunately, I'm unconvinced that he, or those promoting him, will get the fights against decent opposition since they took a massive step back in Greer immediately after his one small step up against Price.
how do you not even accidently get some definition if you have done any training at all in your life?? If you did push ups for a few months you can at least notice some changes, hitting the heavy bag creates cuts in the shoulders and other places. some of wilders "opponents" look like the average out of shape bar drunk who they slipped boxing gloves on. i remember when stay busy oppoenents at least could fight at one time in their life. cant wait for the footage of this gem This content is protected
I ask this again, who is hyping him? He's only referred to as a prospect, nothing else, and is still unknown to pretty much everyone.
A small minority of very vocal fans can do a great deal of damage to a fighters reputation and public image. Incidentally, have you read what Scott Gilfoid has to say about Wilder?
lol jesus ****ing christ I thought this was a **** take photoshop of the level of Wilder's opponents at first - Green looks like a brickie just come back from a stag do Wilder is now beyond parody
Truly shocks me how Wilder is even mentioned in boxing circles. He is HORRIBLE. His skills are low level and he has no punch resistance. You would think after oh I don't know the 10th bum he has been matched against people would finally get it. He is going absolutely nowhere, he is an illusion created by a promoter trying to squeeze a few bucks out of him. Period.
Would love nothing more than to see an American wrecking ball at hw but I don't think he's it. I see him getting humbled when he steps up. I hope I'm wrong But for Christ sake whatever happens he needs to stop kissing at the camera every time it's on him it's ****ing creepy
So true! that's Why Wlad, Haye, and Witherspoon have all hired him as a sparring partner, and why Manny Steward told Ring Magazine (in 2012) that he thought Wilder would be the next heavyweight champ. Don't bother searching for a clue, you might trip & hurt yourself!
