Mate I'm on the wind up Ffs ain't it obvious, so many here are so easy to wind up. I love Louis great fighter, horrid to knock him, just as I believe it's wrong to knock wlad as he had done well for himself, so much hate against him, though I guess being champ makes that happen to most of them

Ah, right, you seem to think I'm a yank who favours Louis in this particular matchup despite my posts and non-American spelling saying otherwise. I think I'm getting the general gist.

Thank you for explaining your thoughts on the matter. I'll get back to you shortly.

Prove what?...that he can knock out fat truck drivers with no stamina or circus freaks who had no business in the ring and who became champions with the help of mafia?
Prove that he can fight bums with losing record 4 times a month?...that's mighty impressive.

A bit ironic calling WK's era weak or ****, considering that the 30's and 40's were nothing spectacular to say the least.

Joe Louis is a cultural icon in the boxing world, that's why he's so highly regarded.
Put him in the ring with any modern SHW and he will come up drastically short.

    I know you're sarcastic but....
He might be the only one to knock out Galento but Galento already had more than 100 fights catching punches, you can't do that forever.

Besides Roy Jones Jr, Wladimir Klitschko is the only hw titlist to have more than 12 knockouts on previously not knocked out opponents.
One of those guys is Ray Mercer

Wlad and any other modern day HW would absolutely demolish and embarrass any classic day ATG like Joe Louis. It'd be painful to watch.

Max Baer Max Schmelling Jersey Joe Walcott Tommy Farr Jack Sharkey James Braddock are those the names of fat truck drivers, Wlads job is too knock out fat truck drivers Louis had already beat them all and there was nobody left, whats Wlad done he gets his ass beat by a golfer a GOLFER ! thats worse than a truck driver at least a truck driver sounds like he could put up a good fight, Louis gets knocked out and comes back with a destructive knockout what does Wlad do...nothing dominates a weak era and has people sucking his bal***** for it...c'mon man

Ali would probably still be a top contender and a good champion because he had the footspeed that allowed him to.
    Step in, jab, step out.

Louis is too slow on the feet, look at Roy Jones Jr now he still has the talent to throw 8 hooks in a combination but without his footspeed he just stands there to catch punches.

    Ali would stop Louis too.
Larry Holmes would also stop Louis
    Lewis would stop Louis
    Holyfield would stop Louis

Yeah, if Joe Louis had spent less time playing golf and more time training his back, shoulders, forearms, quads and core muscles just think of the power he'd get into his shots.

Seriously, have you ever played golf? It's tough man.
