i have a picture with Sharkey and Greb, supposedly theyre the same height but Sharkey looks a substantial bit shorter around 5'6 maybe shorter dont know, was he really that short or did he just shrink somehow a hell of a lot he dosent look extremley old in the photo? Ah here it is This content is protected
Yeah, so even if he was 55 his height shouldnt of drastically been changed that much, so he must of been shorter than his listed height
surprisingly, they usually may the shorter guy shorter and the taller guy taller, Looks like he was the size of Dwight Qwawi Braxton about 5"5 5"6 but he was built like a brick **** house, another rare freak
Grebs cowboy boots look to add an inch or two to his height. Allowing for camera angles, ground etc i would say that this photo looks about right, but that view may change with examination of others. I am not sure.
Wow if hes 5'5 or 5'6 thats pretty incredible physical freak would be underselling him i always knew he was built like a brick **** house but he really must have been even more than i thought only being 5'5 ish
well i am not going to argue too hard as you probably have better eyes than me. Although, why is it that Greb's pants look 2 inches to short, if he isnt wearing high heel cowboy boots or dress shoes or whatever they are.
It's interesting that Mendoza castigates Johnson for beating up 5' 7" Burns, yet is strangely silent on the height, and weight disparity between Jeffries and Sharkey. Two month after going 20rds to a decision loss to Jeffries ,Sharkey only scaled 177lbs against Ruhlin,176lbs 5 months later against Corbett, and 172 lbs 7 months later against McCoy.
I am inclined to think that he must have been 5' 8'', or he would have baeen almost Walcotesque in his proportions. There, I invented a new word!
Greb looking sharp as usual but Sam Langford must have been his tailor. Sharkey looks like he should have been a blacksmith, strong looking guy.
