I keep hearing how he's this monster who everyone's afraid of who beats up
everyone and will one day rule 6 divisions.

He goes life and death wih Daniel Ponce de León

Is fighting some 5 foot midget

Ducking the entire 140 by refusing to go up despite the fact he's clearly a 140 fighter.

Leaves himself open to get hit way too much.

Makes ****** noises when he swings.

So tell me what's gonna stop someone like Lucas or Garcia at 140...f rom taking his god damn head off the moment he steps up?

Lucas would give Broner some serious problems. However, if Broner is anything like uncle Mayweather then he will duck this fight.

I'm not sold on Broner in the way some people are....but I do think he is good.

He seems to be fundamentally sound.....Ponce is no slouch so winning a close fight with him earlier in his career is no shame. It's not like Ponce is a bum.

Plus he has clearly improved since that fight.

I'm not sure how someone is clearly a 140lb fighter when he clearly can make 135lb?

He's a champion and one to look out for he could do big things....even if you are not sold on him doesn't mean you should "hate" him either.

His performance with Demarco was good.....

His chin hasn't been tested, I don't think it will stand up at 140 and neither does he that's why he's staying at 135.

People think because I'm a fan of Ricky Burns I don't like Broner.
But that's not the case at all.

There's a lot to like about Broner, and the flaws I see can be ironed out with the right coaching. And in this day and age,it's nice to have a genuine potential superstar, even if he can be a bit of a ***** sometimes.

    Broner has that "It" factor.
Plus his upside is great seeing the kid is under 25.

    He is must watch TV.

his chin seems solid. DeMarco was still hitting him with hard shots up close, but Broner didn't seem to mind them at all.

I think it comes down to his shortass neck :yep

This is a dumb thread because anybody who knows boxing wouldn't even ask this question.

And why do people keep mentioning the Deleon fight? As if fighters, especially the young ones, can't have an off night?? It's ****in stupid to mention the Deleon performance as some kinda measuring stick cuz Broner has beaten alot better fighters since then..

Personally, I dont like Broner because of the way he acts ( reminds me of a stereotypical ghetto clown ) but it's obvious the dude knows how to fight..
