It is impossible to say that with the line of guys he has fought. What a moronic statement.

God forbid he fight any of the other 268 boxers between Greer and Wlad, eh?

I mean can Wilder's team not process the fact that there may be an in-between option here?

"Is it a bum? Is it a Wlad? No, it's some sort of weird hybrid of the two. Jeepers Creepers, let's get out of here!"

You do realise the British aren't European right? And you have just pulled that out your ass even American fans slate Wilder nobody is "upset" as you call it, people criticize him for his poor opposition and people like you try to defend it, if your a real fan of his you will want him to be tested more he's going nowhere with these fights.

Exactly. It is gonna be a blast when Wilder's handlers finally decide to cash out and his glass jaw is shattered. Wilder is the DEFINITION of a "KO waiting to happen." :yep

Wlad has tact. He knows he might be knocking the guy over in a year or two, and doesn't want to undermine that potential fight. Wlad said of Tyson Fury:

"What would I say about him?" he said. "Well, he's tall and he's almost seven feet. For his size he is flexible and he floats around the ring.

"He could be a real good boxer if he stays focused because he has talent. I don't know what he's like inside, but he definitely has a talent for boxing."

Wlad also compared Mormeck with Tyson. Not sure I'd 100% trust what Wlad says.

I don't put much stock into what Wlad or Manny said either, but it has clearly angered the euro contingent of heavyweight fans.

Some chump in my office tried to tell me Wilder would beat Haye & Wladamir.

He saw him on the Khan undercard for the first time. To your average casual, 27 wins, 27 KOs is mighty impressive. That's what they're marketing him towards, the casuals WDKSAB!

Sam Sexton would clean him out

Pretty obvious this is what they're doing. All this talk about experience building might make more sense if, a) he wasn't fighting no-hopers and b) he wasn't trying to blast them all out in the first and second rounds.

Sam Sexton would indeed do the business on Wilder, provided he didn't get careless or cut in the fourth round.

Bigfag Addict knows **** about boxing. This is the same guy that said Mayweather wasn't allow to gamble in Las Vegas because he was on parole. Neither of which are true. But don't tell him otherwise or he will stalk you for months.

    **** HIM.

james toney has 2 tournaments as a kid

goes into football + crack dealing.

    grows up

decides to go back into boxing in 87

wins a light amateur title the next year does it again.

    goes pro in 88

beats michael nunn and becomes a p4p top 10 in boxing by 91

    4 years.....FOUR ****ING YEARS.

and wilder has olympic support, a major managment contract and television dates every fight he wants.

    he is weak sauce.

in comparison sexton shouldnt really have anything to beat him...difference is that when price dropped him he was a former commonwealth champion against good/solid competition. losing only to derek chisora.

now i dont think he would beat wilder. BUT that doesnt mean matt greer had a better chance.

this year price has stopped 2 who where world challengers, 2 who were european titlists, 2(could of been 3, sad how mcdermott never got his lonsdale) british commonwealth titlists with relatively good wins.

beck wasnt bad but he is too far passed it. losing to a debutant the fight before, kertson manswell is a good roll over fight, but he was never as good as the bottle said, he is not solid or have any outstanding attributes, just size and dreads. mccreary was a former light heavy 10 years ago. too small to compete with him, kelvin price was a decent fight but price was a 1/4 underdog based on his lack of expereince in the pro's and amatuers. he was another rick dyer.

i think deontays team see the ko record and have been sold on trying to get as many koes as possible. and want to create a hype and fame around him. without moving up in rankings to get to a mandatory challenge for the highest price possible in a big fight.

Exactly. If a guy is still fighting tomato cans FOUR YEARS into his career, there's a reason for it.

I'd bet my bottom dollar it's a glass jaw. :nod
