He needs to retire if his confidence is completely shot in his next few fights.

 

Ricky needs to stick to snorting blow and getting KO'd.

Hatton returned 3 1/2 years later at 147 vs a big fighter with only one lose. Not a smart move and Hatton still did good early but completely faded and got stopped by a body shot. Pacquiao has more heart then Suicide Ricky and he already had it happen to him twice earlier in his career. Idiot.

How the **** is Rick going to keep the weight off now he's definitely retired for good? Looks like he's already racked up another stone around his gullet alone.

Hopefully he gets into training fighters in a big way instead and its enough to keep him sane and focussed and in some sort of respectable shape. I wonder if his heart is in it enough to be a dedicated trainer though.

Thought that senchenko ko was a bit of a watershed moment, like he'd woken up and realised its the end of his fighting life, but the beginnig of his next life.

Many people compare Pacman to Duran after Hearns stopped Duran and Pacman was stopped by JMM. Not comparable. Duran could say he was stopped by the best punching 154 pound fighter in history and know he will not be hit like that again, but Pacman cannot say that about JMM at welterweight. Guys are going to be trying to land that big punch on Pacman, and I think he will be hurt more in the next few fights than he ever has. He has to prove to his opponents that he is not going to be hurt easily, and then he might come back and be the old fighter he used to be. His opponents will be going for his chin the next few fights.
