It wasn't really deserving of an SD. But Freddie gave Oscar a great game-plan.

Thanks for reminding me. I totally forgot that pacquiao fans can vote too. HBO was in on the fix that night imo.

Not only that but they don`t talk about Foyd backing out
from the rematch against ODLH. Oscar knew how to
defeat Floyd in a rematch but Floyd backed out from it.

Nah, Oscar would've gotten stopped in th rematch. Nobody knew it at the time, but after the Forbes and PAC fight we now know 147 was to light for him and he would've been, a zombie. Floyd turned down the rematch cause Oscar still wanted the lions share of the purse and to dictate all the terms even though floyd had already beaten him

De La Hoya hasn't fought more then twice a in year since 1999. He was past his prime but no way can you say semi retired when he had been keeping a very inactive schedule for the 7 years prior to the fight.

Most common sense boxing fans know that Floyd would not
stop ODLH. Against Forbes, DLH fought the way that would
defeat Floyd. He knew that his mistake for losing the fight
against Floyd was to stop throwing jabs and changing his game plan.
If you noticed, against Forbes, DLH through jabs in all 12 rounds
winning all of them. Agains Pac, DLH looked physically weak.
You are the first fan saying that Floyd did not fight the rematch
for the reason that you mention which I never heard before.

Most common sense boxing fans, understand that when a fighter who hasn't fought at a weight in 10years, suddenly tries to move down, and is so drained that he only weighs 145 on fight night, that's he not severely drained and he's very susceptible to being stopped. Oscar at 147 was drained and shot to ****. Hell, even at 150 he was drained. The remach was going to be at 147 and in hindsight seeing how drained to **** Oscar was, Floyd would have stopped him.

most people figure Oscar went the distance because Floyd was content with not taking chances rather than because Oscar was still good.

As everyone has said, the SD call was bull**** and probably out of "respect" for Oscar

So, the rematch was going to be at 147 favoring Floyd and you said
before that Floyd backed out from the rematch because ODLH was
    dictating the fight.

Everyone knows that the SD was BS.

Plus everything in that fight; gloves, weight, judges were in favour of Oscar
