In a professional fight if you can say who hit the hardest probably meant he wasn't good enough for you to get fully focused.

I'd say Hasim Rahman in their first fight. It was the only shot that truly scrambled his brains to the point that he was unable to get to his feet unassisted.

Lennox raises a good point though. When you're that in the zone, you're not going to register physical pain as accurately as normal. Plus, if a shot is truly big enough to knock you senseless then you're not going to remember much of anything.

Questions like who hit who the hardest are rarely, if ever, going to have a truly accurate answer, I think.

    Agreed.

I don't need to hear Lewis' opinion to know who hit him the hardest. The footage does not lie.

Lewis said he doesn't know because he's too focused in fights.

Probably the most honest answer a world champion can give on who hit him the hardest.

In sparring matches "measuring" punching power is probably much more accurate as sparring isn't as serious as pro boxing most of the time.

That more or less applies to everyone, barring freaks who were never visibly buzzed or hurt.
