Always possible, I think that happened to Tszyu to an extent. Difference is that Lomachenko doesn't train like an idiot.

Isn't Andre Ward undefeated since he was 13 or something like that ?

Ward and Calzaghe were undefeated from the ages of 12/13, so it's not unprecedented to win consistently at a young age. If his record is accurate though, it's absolutely incredible.

Really looking forward to him turning pro. This stint in the WSB should make the transition easier.

Why must he have lost some fights as a teenager? He would've started boxing earlier than his peers, couple that with excellent athleticism (he excelled at many sports during childhood), longtime boxing coach as a father who is obviously very good at what he does and an intense competitive desire... I'd say it would be surprising if he's lost fights considering how dominant he's been on the world stage.

I also find it hard to believe. Not so much that he only lost once, but there's just such a big chance you get robbed in a close fight (or not even a close one). It's almost a statistical inevitability when you fight 400 times.

Still, I'm amazed by his skill and ability. The guy is out of this world; can't wait to see him go pro. Hopefully he'll not be another Povetkin, who I said similar things about in 2005 (after he'd finished first 10 times and 2nd once in his last 11 tournaments or something, including the Olympics).

    Great news :happy

Judging from that chance we may actually see him pro this year, thought the earliest would be 2014. Can't wait for Lomachenko to go pro, don't think even with Rigondeaux i was looking forward to it as much as Lomachenko

I didn't belive his reord to be true when I first saw that only one loss was on it but I searched and asked and could never find anyother loss than to Selimov. Speaking of Selimov, they could potentially face each other again in the WSB, right?

Everyone else is developing too.. and Lomachenko would be more developed and likely a better athlete with a better coach. I don't know what's so hard to understand for you or why it's so unbelievable, Lomachenko is obviously a boxing prodigy.
In this video at 0:24 it shows Lomachenko as a 5 year old beating up bigger kids, at 3:44 it shows a few young teenage fights where Lomachenko is knocking down opponents and showboating. Looks pretty advanced for someone still developing wouldn't you say? And besides every fighter should always be developing regardless of age.

Dude, just reading dealt_with's and Vysotsky's back-to-back Lomachenko fap sessions is pure gold. Its amazing how the comparisons to pacquiao and whittaker are prevelant even when he's never fought 1 round in the pro ring. :patsch

It was somebody else who brought up those names in relation to ability and athleticism. I think Vasyl matches up well in those regards, you're talking about in terms of resume which I never made any mention of obviously since as you say he's never fought a single pro round. It's funny how people build up names to be almost religious figures in their head, "how dare you mention Lomachenko's name in the same sentence as Whitaker even though you're only making a comparison of one aspect of their game that someone else brought up".
How about you **** off :good

And the irony of this statement is hilarious considering the pedestal you place Lomachenko on. Pot, meet kettle.

I think he has the potential to be an ATG boxer, if you can't see that then maybe you should learn boxing :good
