Bute to fight for WBC title same night as Froch v Kessler possibly on the undercard?

    Read on sky sports app and heard rumours that Bute could fight for the WBC title on the undercard of Froch v Kessler, or on the same night in Canada or Romania. This will be on the same broadcast as Froch v Kessler. Would love it to be on the undercard as I'm hopefully going to see Froch v Kessler.

    I read this too. It also sounds like the Bute rematch will be happening later in the year.

    Winner of Bika - Sjekloca I think mate, they're fighting for WBC Interim title in the middle of Feb I believe.

    Dawson v Pascal will hopefully be on the box office broadcast.

    I know they are but I was thinking that Pascal has a connection to Froch and there has been talk of them rematching eventually. Plus if he beats Kessler convincingly then he could go up to light heavy and fight the winner of Pascal and Dawson.

    Can't see him fighting on the under-card, if that happens I'll eat my own shite.

    Bute will NEVER fight outside Canada again after what happened in Nottingham, his confidence has been completely crushed. Even if he wasn't afraid to do it, he wouldn't fight on under-card anyway when he can fight in a main event in his home town and makes TONNES more money.

    Can maybe see it taking place on the same night though but I doubt anyone would care. Who's going to want to watch Bute fight some fringe contender at best after watching an all war between Froch and Kessler? Would be like shagging Megan Fox and then going home to Kerry Katona.
