I think Pacman-Hatton deserves a mention, I thought Hatton would have to leave on a stretcher...

What Cooney did to a shot Ken Norton should have had charges filed as well...

Hard to nail it down to five. I guess Tua Ruiz has to be up there, as does Graham Jackson. Ruddock Dokes, Hatton Pac, and Abraham Gevor would be my other pics, though there are tons of honourable mentions. Call me sick but I just love knockouts where the fighter is literally knocked out, unconscious on the canvas, and preferably from one or two punches.

    Dempsey-Willard
Baer-Carnera (not the KO necessarily but it was a brutal beating)
    Cooney-Norton
    Tyson-Michael Jack Johnson
    Mercer-Morrison

I think the more brutal knockouts were done when a fighter is out and the ref lets more punches go by. Ray Mercer has been involved in two of these. I don't see the point in cranking up punches when a guy is literally knocked out like he did with Morrison and I forget the other guys name.

Foster-Quarry, Foster-Tiger and Frazier-Foster. All three were very nasty.

Outside choice: Foster-Kendall, bad corner beating.

Foster-Rondon didn't look unusual but Vicente was left twitching.

Foster-Finnegan; the knockout was cinematic, that last punch sucking the fumes of Finnegan's reserves.

Foster-Allen has to go down as a completely comprehensive first round knockout similar to Hagler-Seales III.

Foster has a whole repertoire of filmed beatings and knockouts, both giving and receiving. I wish there were more, great boxer to watch.

Tarver did quite a number on Jason Burrell, when he went down every limb was headed in a different direction :(
