The start of my career saw me fight SIX HOF champions in my first
TWENTY BOUTS. I beat an immortal to become champion...I left boxing after 23 bouts to pursue a career in show business...Who am I ?

I was going for Davey Moore but it seems to have take him 21 fights to do so. Recently Herman Ngoudjo fought 6 titlists in 22 bouts

None of the above...My guy started his career like a meteor and in his 3rd fight
kod one of the toughest animals that ever lived. In just 20 bouts he fought 6 of the greatest champions of his weight class. He is a forgotten fighter today...

I was thinking Marty Servo, but a quick BoxRec check and no it can't be, but that story is very familar Burt, is it that era and those weights WW - MW?

T,no, it is not Marty Servo nor his era...My guy was a tad smaller than the unfortunate Servo who was forever ruined by the bigger Rocky Graziano...

JUST CHECKED Ngoudjo actually managed to fight 7 champs in his 22 fights, 6 in his first 20, you have your answer Burt

Ngoudjo wasn't quite a sensation but to be fair to him he definitely deserved a decision over Malignaggi and probably against Castillo

    EDIT didnt read HOF champs
