I tend to agree with Fury on this one. Given the choice of Kevin Johnson (who went the full 12 with Vitali and has never been KO'd) compared to Tony Thompson (who has been stopped by Wlad twice) and David Haye used as a sparring partner....Price will learn nothing from facing Thompson.
Making a twitter account is one of the worst things he could have done, besides punching himself in the face.
Good ole Fury...Thompson called him a coward to be fair and said that he'd chosen Kirk Johnson over fighting him .... he's never been near Kirk Johnson ffs.
Better be someone good, lots of names thrown around but nothing concrete ... I just hope it's not Briggs. Thompson claiming that Fury ducked him etc,did anyone know anything about this fight apparently being made??First I'd heard of it to be fair.
Briggs would be good for rounds I suppose but Fury doesn't need em,needs to fight a good calibre opponent and look good winning, especially if he wants to crack america.
Iv'e heard Chagaev been mentioned as a possible opponent, but as you say nothing concrete. First ive heard of it too.
Could be a sneaky way of him getting a future fight with Fury, calling him a duck drives him mental haha,he best not be looking past Price though .. big mistake. Chagaev looks good on paper and would easily be Fury's best opponent of late.
Let's see: Thompson has fought Wlad TWICE, and is now fighting Price. Two opponents Fury has not fought, and most likely ducked. So Fury's statement is: :nono
Fury likes to call price allsorts aswell, but on the otherhand he will tell anyone that Price is a good fighter, immense power etc ... I don't think he geuninely means anything he says .. he knows a large percentage of boxing fans dislike him so he's playing upto to it.
