    Hey Dan,Do you think I'm crazy saying that Vitali Klitschko wrecks almost all heavyweights in history at his best? People think I'm insane when I say he would be competitive or beat most ATG's like Joe Louis, Ali, Foreman and Holmes. To make a still very, very good Lennox Lewis almost look one dimensional on short notice solidifies my position on this. I just want to know how you feel about it so I know If I'm fooling myself or not. Thanks.

    Of course he'd be competitive with anybody. One of the greatest chins, decent punching power, a lot of heart, WAY bigger than the HWs in those eras, strength advantages, etc, etc. Any 210 pound HW willing to stand there and trade punches with Vitali gets sparked no matter how great of a legacy they had. Guys like Ali could maybe move, pot shot, make it all 12-15 rounds, and get a close or controversial decision.

    Vitali fought one great heavyweight, who was nearly shot, and lost in 6 rounds.

    Vitali isn't a great fight. He's far too flawed to ever be considered a top 20 all-time heavyweight.

    Still very good but far from prime Lennox heavier than ever and still lost, i rate Vitali much better than Wlad H2H not resume wise, but to say it like fat Dan is beyond delusional he is throwing names and claims he beats them like they are on Arreola level.
    No fighter in history would have easy time with Vitali and he beats alot of past greats BUT from what we have seen prime Lennox would beat him 10 out of 10 times, Ali well he aint stopping Ali and no way he would outbox him to decision, i think he beats Joe, and it wuld be good fight with Foreman i'm leaning slightly towards Vitali but it would not be walk in the park, Holmes would UD Vitali or TKO him not hurt him but cut him up with his jab.

    the HW's from years back were basically CW's, today's HW are 6'5+ 250 lbs super HW's, there's no point in even discussing fantasy fights like Wlad-Louis, Vitali-Fraizer, Lewis-Marciano and so on

    Ali and Lewis beats all.

    Like damian38 said, the top heavyweights were like cruiserweights.

    Primo Carnera and Jess Willard were seen as absolute overgrown monsters and they were
    6'5-6'6.

    Now imagine a very skillful version of them..+ have the benefit of modern nutrition which IS effective, and the evolution of training/knowledge over a course of like a century..

    Dan could be right.
