Langford-Ketchel for championship Marciano-Ali Foreman-Louis John L. Sullivan-Ken Norton prime Gerry Cooney-Mike Spinks
Middleweight: Marvin Hagler vs Jake LaMotta - 15 rounds Super Featherweight: Marco Antonio Barrera vs Julio Cesar Chavez - 12 rounds Lightweight: Roberto Duran vs Manny Pacquiao - 12 rounds Main Event Heavyweight: Muhammad Ali vs Mike Tyson - 12 rounds I wanted to put Robinson vs Duran at 147 but I have him against Pac instead because they're my number 1 and 2 favourite fighters
Another one I'd like to see. An all-heavyweight card : Evander Holyfield v Joe Frazier 15 rounds Larry Holmes v Riddick Bowe 15 rounds Max Baer v Ingemar Johansson 10 rounds Tony Galento v Bob Satterfield 8 rounds (Ron Stander and Marion Wilson will be on standby to fight a 4- or 6-round filler bout if Satterfield-Galento and Baer-Johansson finish a bit quick)
Henry Armstrong vs Aaron Pryor 140 Felix Trinidad vs Julian Jackson 154 Floyd Patterson vs Ezzard Charles HW Rocky Marciano vs Joe Frazier
Muhammad Ali Vs Mike Tyson Bob Foster Vs Michael Spinks Carlos Monzon Vs Marvin Hagler Benny Lynch Vs Masahiko Harada
Definite possibility that. Reid could really crack but seeing as Tito loved going down early in fights (usually 2nd round at 147) I can definitely see Jackson getting the better of a shootout. I probably lean towards 'The Hawk' but can see the reverse as well. How could you not in a matchup like this?
All these are pick 'em fights for me. Especially the Tito vs Jackson and Patterson vs Charles. Tito was just as big as Jackson, and both could hurt the other. There's a temptation to write Trinidad off in this, but that's a mistake; Jackson had the same stalking style, going backwards very rarely. It would be a matter of who imposed their will on the other, and Tito had a hell of alot of determination and willpower. I wouldn't be surprised at any outcome in this one. Patterson and Charles is interesting because both were fast-handed guys who could box or slug. Patterson has a power advantage while Charles is probably a bit smarter and more adaptable. Patterson had the habit of slugging when it wasn't necessary or wasn't in his best interest. This is a high-level shootout that could get dramatic at any point.
Joe Louis vs. Mike Tyson. Heavyweights Benny Leonard vs. Floyd Mayweather. Lightweights Ray Robinson vs. Ray Leonard. Welterweights Pernell Whitaker vs. Joe Gans. Lightweights.
So we get to play as the all-time Harold Rossfield Smith to make fantasy matches. Awesome! Give me: George Foreman (of Frazier) vs. Mike Tyson Roberto Duran vs. Alexis Arguello at 135 Ray Leonard vs. Ray Robinson at 147 Julian Jackson vs. Thomas Hearns at 154
