DLH wasn't a pressure fighter and had a poor volume output, you needed to apply constant pressure to beat tyszu, DLH would have waited around for too long and gotten outpointed tyszu would have decisioned oscar.

Not sure after all de la Hoya I think only had about three fights at light-welter one of which was against a totally over the hill Chavez and the other against darryl Tyson who was bought in to be just an opponent there to lose as all of de la hoya's opponents were until he got to welterweight so his body of work at light-welter hardly makes him a monster at the weight , saying that kostya did lose to Phillips . I think this is a close fight

Chavez was actually far from over-the-hill and undefeated for years prior to facing Oscar. His second fight with Oscar, chavez fought a very hard, gutsy fight and washed up fighters don't fight that well, sorry.

As for Kosta, whoeevr said he would outpoint oscar is ridiculous. Oscar wouldv'e boxed circles around him. Funny how people forget oscar had 240 amateur wins to only a few losses and a gold medal. He had more skill then most boxers in any generation

chavez lost to randall in 94 and then to de la hoya in 96 so your play on words "undefeated for years prior to facing Oscar " is a bit misleading and chavez was certainly past his best by the time if the de la hoya fight.

Sorry, he had one close loss EVER, then won 7 more fights over 2 years before oscar dominated him. I believe he was definitely past his best, but was still a very game fighter.

tszyu was a 3-1 underdog agaisnt zab so i think if anything kostzya was been underrated in his career.

oscar was beaten in his prime by shane mosely who forrest completly dismantled twice, had oscar stepped up against forest, he would likely have gotten outboxed and beaten up. and ppl thought mayogra got a gift the second time against forrest.
