I'm not British and I think Haye is a disgrace. He still clowned your buttbuddy plenty of times and Wlad didn't even come close to KOing him ... and now he has that PED abusing FRAUD on the run.

The heavyweight division is a joke that no one cares about. That gay jab jab grab jackoff eastern euro BS is a joke.

I'm not a fan of glass jawed Lewis but you Klittards are beyond ******ed. Vitali lost, get over it. You ***** about **** that happened nearly a decade ago. Why not focus on the present where he's running away from a crusier.

Vitali didn't make anyone retire ... a MIDDLEWEIGHT however FORCED Vitali to cower away in shame into retirement. And now a crusier is about to do the same.

    TKO6 is such a robotic, drone-like response.

It's funny that the actual fight is somehow irrelevant. Of course, fans would just cheer every guy that loses their fight at the end of the 6th!

The pro-Lewis crowd turned into a pro-Vitali crowd by the end of the fight. Why? Because the last thing the crowd thought in their mind was that not TKO6. It was that Vitali got robbed of a win. The crowd was actually just thinking of a rematch and where they could get tickets.

Lewis refused a career payday and a thrilling matchup for his fans to retire. He not only disgraced the sport, but made himself look like an absolute coward.

What are some premature boxing retirements that occured because of a refusal to fight emerging great boxers in their division? Some simple examples would be Lennox Lewis and Naseem Hamed. However, what are some other ones that occurred that prevented amazing fights?

Well a recent one is Kelly Pavlik, he was still winning fights, not truly "shot" like most at retirement yet.

I don't believe that any retirement is premature. No one is under any obligation to fight forever.

These guys get punched in the face for a living. If someone decides to hang up their gloves with their senses intact, great, I'm happy for them. There are cases where I wished a fighter would have had a few more bouts, i.e. Steven Luevano and now maybe Pavlik (though I doubt he's gone for good) but these guys have every right to retire whenever the hell they want.

    Wow, what a troll thread.

Naseem Hamed clearly lost hunger for the sport.

Lennox Lewis already fought an emerging 'great' Boxer.

    And he beat him.

    TKO 6.

    Talk about Butt Hurt.

A premature retirement is possible. If there is no huge threat for a champion, he will continue fighting because he not only keeps making money, but he keeps winning. Some boxers have seen a huge threat on the horizon (a generational talent) and step away from the sport. It's premature because if the threat didn't exist they would still fight.

Hamed stepped up and got schooled. He lost his interest because nobody would pay to see him beat down bums anymore. It's a premature retirement because the guy just refused to step up.

Lennox never won convincingly. Everyone wanted a Lewis-Klitschko rematch. He refused a career payday and retired. That would be premature too.

Ernesto Marcel...not sure if his reason for retirement fits what you're looking for, but he retired young in the middle of a hall of fame career.

Tecnically Knocked The **** Out = TKTFO 6

    Inside 6 Rounds.

18 mins of easy work for Lewis.

He could of made Wlad's face unreconisable inbetween rounds

    TKO6 is a fact though.

If Lewis beat his ass again, he would of wanted another rematch

    Cant admit defeat

Lewis was in a lose/lose, so decided to retire rather then train and put his body through distress.

It should of been Lewis who said, 'ill never lose to know white boy'

Not Hopkins lol, he got slapped around.

But Lewis beat the so called best on the planet right now.

    by KO
