Good one. Ben Villaflor might count, too...for even though he lost his last fight to Sammy Serrano, he still could have remained in contention for a while, based on the form he'd displayed and the fact that he was only in his mid 20's when he retired.

 

Felix Trinidad! Although he had just been outclassed by
Hopkins before his first retirement, he was still in his late 20s. I would have loved seeing him give it another run at 160lbs, and potentially rematch DLH who eventually moved all the way up to 160lbs.
