I thought Leonard won 1,2,3,4,11,12 Hagler 5,7,8 with 6,9,10 tough to score. Haglers work was sluggish imo, Leonards punches were so much sharper. Many of the rounds in the fight were hard to score on whether you prefered Haglers steady grind or Leonards flashy bursts. I prefered Leonards work.
True, as well as Leonard's flashy bursts, his footwork was absolutely top notch, in the opening rounds before he tired, Marvin just catch up with him, or corner him. It was only after round 5 that Hagler got going, before then he was getting shut out. On my last viewing I had it a draw, with Leonard winning rounds 1,2,3,4,6,12 with Marvin winning the rest. Many had Ray winning round 7, but I disagree. Great fight though, my favourite moment is round 12 when Ray was backed into the ropes, looks like Marvin's got him, then Ray comes back with a 10 punch combination and backs him up.
yeah mate, was more like 20 punches, love that 12th round with the showboating and the 9th when Leonard is pinned in the corner and fights his way outta there with a series of flurry's, was a great round.
Leonard won a close fight... due mainly to the fact he took 5 of the first 6 rounds (I gave Hagler round 5) & dug out 2 from the last 6 rounds when Hagler came on strong. I though Leonard won more clear rounds than Hagler also. Calling this a robbery automatically means you should not be taken seriously on anything boxing related IMO... close fights are not robberies.
From a guy that gave the first 2 rounds to Hagler Leonard clearly won those rounds, you`d have to be extremely biased with a hell of an agenda so see things otherwise, that = a Leonard win on your card once you correct that ****.
Seen the fight more times than i can remember, and have never had Hagler winning. Leonard won the fight fairly imo, normally have it 7-5.
Wow... just wow atsch Hagler did nothing in round 1, Leonard didn`t do much more but it was clear as day he landed more than Hagler. Round 2 was one of the clearest rounds of the fight to score & it was easily a Leonard round. I have no idea what you were doing when those rounds were being shown.

2 things.... not many people I`ve heard gave Leonard round 7, rounds 7 & 8 were Hagler`s 2 best rounds.... and Ray definitely won round 11 so add that to 1,2,3,4,6 & 12 and you have the same score as me which = a SRL win.
How the **** did you give Hagler rounds 1 and 2? Pretty sure from memory that Hagler won round 12 decisively aswell. Awful scorecard.
