What did Judah and Alexander do that avoided them getting KO'd against Matthysse?

Since that Alexander 'loss' he seems to be bulldozing through opponents. Out of curiosity, despite Matthysse's reputation as a fierce puncher, how were Judah and Alexander able to avoid getting KO'd by him?

theyre not tomato can bums like the rest of Matthysse's opponents.

it's actually funny because. Alexander has a rep for "having no heart".

and just has a rep for "having a glass jaw + no heart".

so why couldn't Iron Man Matthysse stop these guys?

Zab blocked punches well, moved his head and snuck in his own shots when available which disrupted Lucas's attack and/or deterred him to wade in. Judah has some pop and even though Lucas can take a good punch he wasn't exactly looking to mix it up until he caught and rocked Zab. Long story short Judah is just a better all around boxer then most of Matthysse's opponents.

Alexander has a good chin plus both guys are at a higher level than most opponents that Matthysse disposes of.

I think the Judah fight was close and could have gone to either guy, but I had Matthysse winning with the KD being the difference.
In that fight I think Matthysse just wasn't experienced and confident enough in himself yet. He was brought in for Judah for Judah to look good against and you could tell he was giving Judah a lot of respect early on.
The tide of the fight started turning a little after Judah caught him with a counter uppercut and Matthysse stopped and smiled, and it's like he realized that he could take Judah's punch.
That's when he started slowly applying more pressure

I feel he had more rounds against Matthysse even w/o the KD in the equation, so once you factor that in, it tells you all you need to know about the fight. But like stated before, Alexander is a good fighter with an underrated chin

:patsch comments like these make me wonder whether the majority of people on here even watched the fights. specifically the Judah fight. that was in no way a robberry and i feel judah won in a close but clear decision. but once again, it was close.

i had Matthysse beating Alexander by a point or two, but again, no robberry. all Matthysse nuthuggers do is recycle the same ****.

Alexander needs to fight out of St. louis..

The homecooking by Don King was obvious. Look at the score cards
