Why were many old time boxers so scrawny looking

    I saw the docu too. Past prime form, I am not so sure. He seemed to have every bit of his invincibility at that point. Surely he was getting older but he was still slaying the giants. No one had consistently edged him the way Larret and others have only recently.

    Trolling is farce. Manassa just elevated it to satire. I'm not sure whether to thank him or send him a baby tiger. Maybe both.

    who cares if your 110 pounds or 300

    a man should watch his mouth

    and tell why dont you think i boxed

    because i think doing weights is good???
    and i happen to disagree with the backward mentality of some boxing coaches


    just to let you know
    boxed for about 15 years on and off

    4 years of brazilian jit-jitsu
    and also have done a bit of wrestling, muay thai and systema

    and yes i am an avid weightlifter
    if you dont like that
    then **** you too


    like i said, i posted exactly where i train,
    and i am down to spar with anyone

    how much hate i get for supporting weight training

    I don't think you're an idiot who doesn't know boxing, hg. I just think all that pseudoscience doesn't make a boxer -- however shredded -- one bit better. From day one, he'll either wanna stick 'n move or mix-it-up. All the muscles in the world won't make him punch WITH an opponent, like Donaire.

    He can either box 'n fight or he can't. With the best conditioning, he either takes a good shot to the chops or body, or he can't. SRR had it in his DNA.
