Did Guillermo Rigondeaux succeed in the Olympics because his opponents couldn't avoid him?

Pac couldn't be in the Olympics since they have to do random blood test.

Wasnt as bad as Roy Jones blistering his opponent to the point where it likely should have been stopped, but he was robbed.

The judges must've deducted several points for the awful trunks.

i heard he got robbed so his loss is controversial . he doesnt really cherrypick ne way. the only major cherry pick was JMM. mostly because how he screwed JMM over on the scales.

Thanks for the vid. That's a ****in shame, him and Roy both. Definitely sours a once in a lifetime type experience. Could probably use one hand to count the number of fighters from the US on their skill and ability level (in history).

He never fights guys at their best, always old or blown up. That much is true.

Get some glasses and read the title of the thread again. Why the **** would I be talking about Pac when he moved up to fight LWW, WW and LMW fighters? ****ing fool.

Probably set his super stardom back 5 years. Remember this is when olympics still mattered and winning gold was a BIG deal. Oscar had just won Gold at the olympics and consequently Floyd had to live essentially in Oscar's shadow for over a decade.

And Floyd didn't? What a ****ing joke. I know you are dumb as hell. So Floyd fought the old but Pac didn't huh? SHOWS what you know...

No doubt. It took him a long time to break through, but once he did he's become probably the greatest commercial success in PPV history (people will disagree, but his average rate numbers are on par with Tyson and ahead of DLH and Pacquiao). I don't blame him one ****ing bit for anything he's done since 2007 from reality's perspective. It really hasn't warranted the pissing and moaning to the obsessive extent it does anyway.
