Good list. I don't think very many could "whoop" Matthysse. Alexander only lost by 1 point in their fight in my eyes, so if Alexander vs. Matthysse II happened at WW w/o Matthysse tuneing up there, he'd be a decent shout. Maidana is worth a mention as he beat Matthysse in 3 of their 4 amateur fights, if my memory serves.

 

idk, Guerrero doesn't like it to the body, I could see that fight being close.

I agree with Juan, Bradley and Mayweather. They are just simple better fighters.

 

If Bradley could beat him then Pacquiao for sure can.

can't see bradley holding him off due to his lack of power and height....his tenacity and strength would serve him well and i could see his combos giving matthysse alot of trouble...however does he really have the abilty to hold off the storm, considering his penchant for bull rushing? matthysse would definitely appreciate that and i think that fight would be a toss up

as for guerrero, can't see him beating matthysse. He doesn't have the speed or the patience/discipline necessary to outbox him. besides theres something about him its like he's dying for a fire fight and i think he'd get it against lucas....and regret it

 

The only person on that list that has a chance is Mayweather and thats only because he runs and pot shots all night IMO

The easiest of the 4 would be the ghost followed closely by bradley. What would the ghost or bradley do to beat mattysse? Although id favor mattysse over marquez i can understand why people might pick him to beat mattysse. I still say mattysse brutally ends his career. Mayweather....we dont know how far hes slipped. Trout beat cotto just as easy and mattysse beat alexander and judah with timing.

If Guerrero comes forward like he has been he will get hit too much plus he dont like bodyshots

I do think JMM gets stopped due to his advanced age and lack of physical gifts like height or long arms. I see a SD loss due to KDs. Younger? I see a UD.

I also agree about Guerrero. Styles make fights and seeing how easily Aydin was handled by Soto-Karass says to me that Guerrero doesn't have enough to keep Mathysse off of him. Brutal KO.
