Dude, I'm not attacking you or anything like that, I'm simply asking what "facts" you are using to support your position? As a follow up how do those "facts" compare with the facts being reported by Dan R and the other place where the contract is posted?

Dude you were one of the main people denying they (GBP) were even trying to make the fight. Now you critisize Mares' team for providing YOU with evidence that what they have said is correct? I'm confused by your position and I honestly don't understand what you're trying to prove/defend.

meaning...if it look like GBP is going to lose money on this fight, they could and will pull the plug on this event for "they have no obligation" once the bout is cancelled for whatever reason.

:lol: The spin job is worse than I though... But honestly, it's almost the same as what posters predicted it would be. Somehow I can't find that thread about the contract, must have been deleted?

Just read the contract. Go to the bottom of page 6. Read the indemnity clause. I'm no legal eagle but it basically says GBP can do anything they want and TR gives up all legal rights of recourse. REALLY? Go ahead, read it and give me your take of that clause and tell me if YOU would sign something like that. No right to recourse, breach SPECIFICALLY spelled out. This contract is only binding on TR. You think the TR lawyers would sign off on that?

Go to the top of page 11 on the confidentiality clause. That's a real laugher. Why? Because GBP has already violated the contract. If TR signs it there is nothing they can do about it because signing it means they give up the right to do anything about the breach that has already occurred. Did ANY of you actually take the time to even glance through it? That's all I did and came up with that right off the bat.

Easily outed the contract in the post above. Read the damned "contract" yourself and don't just spout ****. You guys that haven't read it are the ones looking like fools regardless of how you band together and vote on the issue. Respond to the post above with the contract points I've noted or you are the one that is a complete GBP tool here. :deal

You have a legal background in contract law to make that statement? Serious question.

Ok...look all I'm saying is there is one team clearly trying to make the fight, and one that isn't. If you want to cling to these ideas, so be it, but I'm not concerned with the contract in terms of particulars because it's outside of my expertise, the point is that there is a legit contract that has been offered which nullifies your position of "how do you know they've offered a contract, did you see it" argument.

And I still don't understand what you're trying to "prove" or "defend" here, and that's my main idea...what is your point? Nonito/TR/Arum are not interested in the fight, I mean that's pretty clear, not sure why you take that so personally.
