    Oh, on the double!

    (But again, when he's in-shape).

That's the big problem with him... It's all a bunch of 'IFs'.

Solis is not a great pick, because he hasn't had any proper tune-ups. We don't know what shape he shows up in.

The proper thing to do would be to let Solis fight one decent contender (Helenius, Boytsov, heck even Charr) and if he wins that in dominating fashion then he'd be okay to consider for a voluntary defense.

Solis isn't bad but It would take him a year solid training for him to resemble his amateur days, NOT 2 months,

Apparently Solis is already in shape (whatever that means). The Solis who fought Vitali minus any supposed pre fight knee injury wuold be a better fight than his last three.

Can you guys list 10 names that you would prefer Wlad fight instead? Withholding names of fighters he has already beaten , or have obvious or previously disclosed that their not ready for the fight. You could probably find something to complain about all of them for being choose.

1)Povetkin, has pulled out twice, and summer fight makes more monetary sense
2,3)Pulev/Adamek, Adamek would be bashed probably even worse, considering his last few outings, and both men are lined up vs. each other for a mandy shot, and bigger payday then a voluntary
4)Fury, talks a lot of ****, but has relatively few fights and is scared to fight Price
    5) Price, says he needs 3 fights and 1 more yr.
    6) Hellenius, is in same boat as Solis, coming off injury and poor showing last time out.
7)Arreola, hasn't spoken Walds name, since focusing on capturing the likely vacant title, when Vitali retires.
8 )Boystov, has contract issues with Universium going bankrupt, and is constantly injured.
9)Pianeta, would get the same treatment as Wach if he were selected.
    10) Wilder?, no where close to being ready. And would probably wait for an USA venue

Franklin Lawrence , not even Americans know of this guy. Cunningham was another sparring partner and lost last outing.

Yes. Looking unimpressive for 12 rounds against Airich isn't enough to warrant a title shot.

Wladimir Klitschko will be taking a lot of criticism if he fights Solis. Of course, no matter who he fights there will be negativity and criticism, but this time it's going to be difficult for his fans to defend his decision.

Wow, I just saw on Boxrec that Solis was 20lbs heavier against Airich, than he was against Vitali.

    Eugh not really.

I dunno is anyone remembers before he fought Vitali but I was very high on Solis back then and picked him to destroy the division, he wasn't proven but I thought he had all the tools to walk through both brothers and Haye.

However he got stopped in 1 went inactive and did nothing since to prove he warrants another shot.

I'd like to see Wlad against a pressure fighter who can time his shots well but Solis isn't the one to do it.

After Povetkin and Arreola he's maybe the most interesting style matchup but as for the thread question, with guys like pulev, povetkin even helenius out there it isn't a great fight choice.

Not the worst ever but far from the best.

Had Solis had an interim fight against a ranked opponent I'd be looking forward and calling for this but he hasn't done.

Yes, I approve. Who else is there?, still I see many idiots acting like the division is packed with Muhmmad Alis, Tysons and Holyfields that Klitschko is running scared from. This is what the division has to offer. Either don't watch or accept it already, it's not his problem Povetkin doesn't want to fight.

Where would you rank Arreola? Top 20, top 30?

You stupid Scar? I thought you knew what was going on in boxing. Wlad is the one dodging Povektin.

Really?, the injury cancellation followed by complete silence from Povetkin's camp and Wladimir is the one avoiding him? As far as I remember, Atlas openly stated Povetkin isn't ready. This is years later with Atlas no longer working with him and we have seen/heard absolutely nothing from Povetkin. If anything, he has looked terrible in his recent fights. Maybe I'm missing something, enlighten me please.
